ToolSlash provides a curated collection of online productivity engines, including mathematical calculators, data converters, media editors, file validators, document viewers, and AI generation tools.

ToolSlash is deliberately engineered to safeguard user confidentiality by running the majority of tools client-side directly in your browser:

• In-Browser Execution: Media processing, calculations, PDF inspections, EPUB parsing, and conversions execute in your local device memory using WebAssembly, HTML5, and JavaScript.
• No Server Storage: Your uploaded files, documents, and inputs are never saved, stored, or copied on our servers.
• Transient Backend API Tools: For the subset of tools that require server API processing, all data transmissions occur ephemerally in-flight. We do not retain, database, or archive your files or inputs on our backend.

You retain 100% ownership and intellectual property rights in and to any files, data, text, manuscripts, or calculations you input, convert, or generate through ToolSlash:

• ToolSlash claims no copyright, ownership, or licensing rights over your uploaded files or resulting outputs.
• You are free to use, distribute, publish, or sell files and calculations generated using our tools for any personal, educational, or commercial purposes.
• The ToolSlash name, logo, site design, code, interface layouts, and branding are the exclusive intellectual property of ToolSlash and are protected by applicable trademark and copyright laws.

Select tools on ToolSlash utilize Artificial Intelligence models powered via OpenRouter. By using these AI features, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Probabilistic Nature: AI-generated outputs are generated probabilistically by third-party machine learning models. ToolSlash does not warrant that AI outputs will be factually accurate, unique, error-free, or suitable for any specific legal, financial, or commercial objective.
• Ephemeral Routing: Your prompt inputs are routed via OpenRouter strictly to generate the requested output. ToolSlash does not store your prompts or resulting outputs.
• Independent Verification: You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying the accuracy and appropriateness of any AI-generated content before relying upon or publishing it.
• Responsible Prompts: You agree not to submit prompts designed to generate illegal, hate speech, abusive, defamatory, or harmful content.

You agree to use ToolSlash only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Engage in automated denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, automated bulk scraping, or excessive programmatic queries that disrupt or degrade service performance for other users.
• Attempt to probe, scan, or exploit security vulnerabilities or bypass rate limiting on our web servers or backend API proxies.
• Transmit or process malicious code, viruses, trojans, ransomware, or exploits through any file conversion or validation tool.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or harvest API keys or internal endpoints.
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations.

ToolSlash displays advertisements served by third-party ad networks, primarily Google AdSense.

Advertisements and external links may direct you to third-party websites or services. ToolSlash does not endorse, sponsor, control, or assume liability for the products, services, privacy policies, or content of any third-party advertisers or external websites. Any interactions or commercial transactions with advertisers are solely between you and the advertiser.

Specifically, calculations provided by loan calculators, financial formulas, health/BMI calculators, and unit converters are intended solely for general informational, educational, and convenience purposes. They do not constitute certified professional financial, medical, legal, tax, or engineering advice. Always consult a qualified professional before making critical decisions based on automated calculations.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall ToolSlash, its operators, contributors, affiliates, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation:

• Loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities;
• File corruption, document formatting variances, or calculation discrepancies;
• Service interruptions, server downtime, or inability to access tools;
• Errors or omissions in AI-generated text or translations.

Because our utilities are offered completely free of charge, our total aggregate liability arising out of or related to your use of ToolSlash shall not exceed $10.00 USD (or the minimum statutory amount permitted by applicable law).

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ToolSlash and its maintainers from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

We reserve the right to modify, replace, enhance, or discontinue any feature, engine, or tool at any time without prior notice. We may also revise these Terms of Service periodically. Your continued use of ToolSlash after any revisions indicates your acceptance of the updated terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
